Can I start without a credit card?

Yes. The Starter plan is completely free — no credit card required. You get 500 API calls per month and access to core features to evaluate the platform before committing.

What happens when I exceed my API quota?

Requests beyond your monthly quota receive a 429 rate-limit response. We never charge overage fees automatically. You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your limits.

Is ChatMed HIPAA compliant?

ChatMed is built with HIPAA compliance in mind. Enterprise plan customers receive a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA). All plans benefit from encryption, access controls and audit logs. Learn more about our security.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Do you offer a free trial for Professional?

What payment methods do you accept?

Where is my data stored?

Data is stored in encrypted cloud databases with no plaintext PHI retained beyond the session unless you explicitly configure data retention. Enterprise plans can request data residency in specific regions. See our security page.
